((((((((((((((((((Amelia)))))))))))))))))))))

Do you have a particular date that you are moving into the accommodation at uni?  I hope you enjoy your visit there on Saturday.

I'm sorry that you've been upset about something.  Do you want to tell us about it?

Thanks for hoping we're okay.  I have been quite stressed lately, but my counselling session on Tuesday was good and I feel a lot better.  Sally hasn't been at all well lately, so that's frustrating for her.

I am hoping to get my photos loaded later tonight.

Lots of love, Cathy xx

Hi Rusha,

I'm so glad the tablets your husband bought you brought you relief and I pray they continue to do so. What are they called? I'm still having troubles in that area.

I pray your cold and throat infection will get better soon.

I think medical treatment in Melbourne (and most likely other places) is pretty terrible. Doctors don't seem to know much that will help their patients. They actually seem to prescribe the wrong thing a lot of the time. I found all the hospital outpatient appointments I had very frustrating!

Love and blessings,
Sal

Thank you Peni, Wanda and Pebbs, for your responses.

I will talk more with my doctor when I see her next as I said above.
I've talked with my husband too and he agrees that the antibiotic medication might well give me more grief than relief, as he has seen and known my sensitivity to strong medication. He has a very good knowledge and understanding of medications, from years long before he became a nurse and clinical teacher. (He was a science teacher, always interested in medicine.)
Because I've had such a good response to the tablets he bought for me, we both think it best to wait and see the long-term outcome - and probably not go back to the clinic at all.  The good thing is that they found no cancer or evidence of damage in my digestive system or bowel, so it may just be an idiosyncracy of my system which needed a simple remedy to tip it back to normal function.
I know that stress is a factor, and have found that some of these and other medical/drastic procedures take me a while to recover from.
(And yes, I do get stressed at times, with circumstances and finances, as well as health/aging processes.)

The doctor who performed the procedures Wanda, was very open and friendly, and told me on the day that there were no problems, and then the clinic doctor said nothing had shown up on the biopsies, so that's why they don't really know what the problem is.
I was not impressed with him because he obviously hadn't read his previous notes, and even asked me if I'd had stool samples analysed -- and he was the one who ordered them, should have the reports concerning them in the file, and should have notified my doctor of the results, which is why I want to check again with her. I think from what they didn't find, even with the pathology tests nine months ago, that they could have suggested these same tablets and given me relief long ago instead of making me wait for a procedure for a whole year!

I also don't want to have food sensitivity tests for the same reason -- since the diabetes diagnosis and the quick weight loss and blood sugar control with no help from the dietitian I was referred to, I have basically eaten the same food ever since, have actually lost a few more kilos, and my doctor has been happy, so I can't see where or why I would suddenly have developed sensitivities to things I've cooked and eaten for years.

Thanks Pebbs for offering your remedy. I'm ok for now, and will see how it goes.

Love to all,
rusha.

For me the truth is where you seek for it... for me the truth will never be in the bible... just too much baggage for my tastes... I find papa in the music I love...  the books I read (including The Shack) the art I see... the beauty in both the natural world and in the world we have created... but mostly I see the truth in the eyes of those I love... and those who love me... that is the word... the truth... and the life...

I'm praying too my sweet Rusha!!!  I have had this stomach problem too!  I did find a digestant aid after 3 months of heavy diarreah and a little vomiting and dehydration.  It has been terrible.

I saw and read a small brochure on this guy who had the same symptoms and was wasting away.  I don't have any medical insurance, so I can't go to the doctor.  So, I bought this stuff called:  Garden of Life (upside down U-Zyme).  A smybol or something.  But it is working!  My stomach is not nauseous, the diarreah has slowed down some, and I am eating again.  I take the pills (1 and a (1/2) every night).

Can you get this product from your health food store?  If you can't, I can send you some!  I'd love to!  and of course I'd do it for you!

It didn't seem like it was working the first week at all, then I remember this guy who wrote about it and it took several months.  I feel somewhat better.  I'd love for you to try it.

Love you, and praying,
Pebbs x x x

Ruth,
Did you not even get the results of your colon exam you had a few weeks ago?  That just isn't right!  I hope you will be able to see someone who has access to your records and can give you some answers and recommend the right treatment for you.  Your cold is hanging on way too long too.  I am so sorry you are still feeling so bad.  Looking forward to hearing better news regarding your health really soon.  Take care of yourself and get better soon!!

I have taken some photos of my bears, but I haven't loaded them onto my computer yet.  I hope to tomorrow.
